What utter horse shit.
There is no legal requirement for a hospital to administer strange concoctions of snake oil just because a patient or their advocate demands it. All I can say is that for Suba's sake, his own doctors never listen to him when he is ill.
Doctor: "I am afraid Mr Suba that your wife has meningitis. This might well kill her or cause pernament damage, but fortunately the response to antibiotics is usually very good, and we think we have caught it in time"
Suba: "What!?? You mean you are going to give my beloved evil antibiotics which will waeken her immune system? Don't you realise that will kill her?
Doctor: "Mr Suba, I can reassure you that the antibiotics only destroy the bacteria causing the meningitis, and will not harm your wife. Without them she will die."
Suba: "Ridiculous! You allopaths know nothing! I read on the interweb thingy that antibiotics can interfere with metabolism somehow. You guys just want to kill her! I insist you take that drip down, and instead give her high dose Vitamin C. Linus Pauling said it helps infections like colds."
Doctor: "That won't work, Mr Suba. There is absolutely no evidence to show vitamin C does anyth.."
Suba: "Of course it does! Dr Briffa says it's wonderful! You drug-pushing parasites are simply part of the global pharma-industrial complex. Cyberpussy told me all about you. I bet you have shares in GSK, don't you! Admit you'd rather make £0.0000000000042 from the 0.000000005% rise in your 500 GSK shares that would follow your use of antibiotics than you would save a life. Now get that Vitamin C going immediately!" (retires from scene, checking wife's insurance policy and chuckling to himself...)
