Cybertiger is a cock

OK - here's an "admin" type post I've been threatening for a while.

Dr Mark Struthers, of the Flitwick Surgery has been posting on this blog, since its inception, as "Cybertiger".

To date, he has yet to make a single comment that isn't simply abusive, aimed either at me personally, or at other commenters.

Personal abuse directed at me doesn't worry me. It's abuse aimed at other commenters that annoys me. So, do I:

a. Delete all the posts he's made and ban him from commenting in future?
b. Keep the shit he's already written, but ban him from making future postings?
c. Keep the stuff that he's written, but filter and delete any future postings that are simply abusive?
d. Just keep allowing him to post whatever shit fills his tiny mind with a view to compiling it into a book and posting it to his employers?

You see - Dr Struthers is a cock. However, I don't approve of censorship. So… I'd really rather just say to Dr Mark "I'm A Prime Arsehole" Struthers: "Mark - if you wish to keep commenting on this blog, please make your comments relevent. If they're not relevant, or are simply abusive, they may well be deleted."

Any thoughts are most welcome - on this thread, anything abusive from Dr Struthers will be deleted. Because he's a cock. For now, I won't delete any of his other posts.

I hope that's fair.

I expect he will eventually get bored and go away. In the meantime his posts are illuminating as to his troubled state of mind.

I think he is hoping to be banned or censored. Best to ignore and collect his utterances for posterity.

I warned you, dickhead. Abuse on this thread will be deleted. Or is an inability to read another of your many surprising traits?

B or C. The man has nothing to contribute to anyone who isn't studying Tourette's syndrome, and he isn't intelligent enough to be amusing.

If you ban him as cybertiger, he'll come back as something else. I'd just delete his posts if they are too out of line. Otherwise you could always send copies of his comments on to the GMC. Which is what I'd do.

I doubt writing to the GMC would do anything, sadly. What they would be interested in how Shabbytabby serves his patients, and I'm afraid his adolescent widger-waving on a website would not be deemed relevant - especially as he does it under his Nom De Troll.

I think I would just delete his more swear-y posts (which might be all of them, of course}, or do what the Holfordwatch gang do with idiot posters and "disemvowel" the posts (all vowels deleted).

As Millipede says, Shabby's welentless willy-waving tells us far more about the darker recesses of his own mind than anything else. I am getting the idea that a course of Freudian psychoanalysis might be just the thing for him, actually, as he seems to have some issues related to mother figures.

Anyway, speaking purely selfishly, if you ban him I won't be able to try out all the other alternative versions of his name I've thought of. I've only used about five so far, and I have another dozen to go.

Pretty difficult to disagree with the title of this thread !

To PTET - if he comes back with a different identity I think we might be able to take a wild guess.

I would have suggested "C" as the best course of action but it looks as if events have overtaken me here.

Have you killed him off Becky ?

There is a serious dearth of mad rantings on here at the moment and no references to tossers, tits etc.

On the way home last night there was a traffic report of severe congestion caused by a dangerous dog loose on the M1 near Flitwick.

Apparently the police captured this rabid hound and incarcerated said mutt.

Curious that the inane and abusive postings should cease around the same time.

As the most tenuous of connections lacking all empirical justification seem to be the basis of much (all!) mumbo-jumbo I think my case is proven.

are we sure he is actually Dr Mark Struthers?

I'm yet to see any evidence that he is and he does not seem to have the intelligence. He may well have claimed to be by giving a GMC number on JABS, but any idiot can find a GMC number from the medical register.

Mark Struthers might be a perfectly good GP and not this psycho

I'm pretty sure cybertiger is Dr. Struthers.
There is definitely a connection between cybertiger's jabs posts and struther's comments on the BMJ and other places.

Anthony Cox said this on blacktriangle:

"Both Melanie Philips and Laban Tall have noticed the article in the BMJ. Laban calls the article remarkable, sadly it is not. Laban Tall also notices the appearance of a serial commentator called Mark Struthers at the BMJ site. At times I comment at the BMJ on subjects that he takes a mutual interest in ( Apartheid Israel, on the Israeli Medical Association, the Iraq War, and not unsurprisingly vaccine safety), so Struthers is not unknown to me.

What the BMJ site does not tell you, is that if you do not toe the line of Struthers’ rampant anti-Americism, extremist views on Israel or any other subject he has a fixed opinion on, you will be sent emails in which he will inform you that you have a cognitive disorder.

To be fair to him, he is at eminently qualified in that area."

http://www.blacktriangle.org/blog/?p=862

Which strongly suggests that Struthers was sending abusive emails to cox under his own name and not his cybertiger identity.

If you follow the vaccination link from cox's blog you will end up at some BMJ rabid responses on the subject of shaken baby syndrome. A couple of the responses are from Dr. Struthers.

Cyber tiger links to the same BMJ pages from Jabs.

I have wondered whether cybernutter is in fact a doctor.

Repeated requests to make an informed medical contribution have resulted in the usual inane insults.

Perhaps the easiest way to confirm this is the check the IP address his ravings emanate from. Look it up on WHOIS and see if it comes from the Flitwick area.

If it does it is some sort of indication that it might be Struthers albeit not absolute proof.

I'm not sure if I can do that with Blogger, as it's a hosted blogging solution.

It appears he's got bored, and has fucked off to play elsewhere. However, if he comes back, I'm going to delete new posts that are simply abusive. Existing posts will stay, and, of course, if Dr Struthers has anything to actually contribute to any discussion, I'll leave his posts completely unedited.
